Thankfully, about eight years later, Phantasy Star Online 2 has arrived and, despite some technical issues, it’s just as good as we hoped. The Phantasy Star series as a whole has always been incredibly popular among RPG fans, and the first game had a dedicated player base for the time, making the wait for the sequel even more unbearable. As the events kicked off over the weekend we can only hope to see the content return on Xbox as the work week is getting started. After years and years of waiting, Phantasy Star Online 2 finally came to the West officially in 2020 after a beta period. Meanwhile, all of the games appear to be available everywhere else that they’ve been released: Steam, Nintendo Switch, Epic Games, PlayStation 4 and 5, and on PC from MY.GAMES launchers. Tips we’ve received and other tweets over the last few days have confirmed the issues but so far there’s been no further explanation. We’ll keep you updated! Also, please don’t delete the game client - you won’t be able to re-install it for the time being. We’re aware of the problems and are doing our best to mitigate them ASAP. You may also face network interruption issues. The game and game-related purchases are currently unavailable in the Microsoft Store. So far we’ve only seen a pair of tweets from the Warface Twitter account confirm the issue, even suggesting not to delete any downloaded content from players’ consoles. Five titles and all of their DLC content appear to have been removed from the Xbox marketplace including Warface, Warface: Breakout, Skyforge, Armored Warfare, and Blast Brigade vs. Something peculiar is currently going on with all titles from publisher MY.GAMES on Xbox platforms.
